‘Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3‘ Trailer Turns a Sinister Circus Into a Slaughterhouse

Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey 3 trailer

Pooh Bear and his monstrous companions are trading the Hundred Acre Wood for a traveling circus in the first trailer for Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3.

I thought the first Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey was awful. I hated it. I almost didn’t watch the sequel, but was surprised to find Part 2 had turned the franchise around. It was actually worth its weight in weird gore. I’ve been hooked into this world ever since.

I’ve enjoyed the other films in the so-called Poohniverse, which is officially referred to as The Twisted Childhood Universe. Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare is a truly unnerving bit of grind house madness. Bambi: The Reckoning is a relentless chase picture. And Pinocchio Unstrung is one of the best live-action adaptations of the fairytale ever made.

But it’s Winnie’s return that we’ve all been waiting for.

The latest installment in Jagged Edge Productions’ flagship horror franchise sends Pooh, Tigger, and Rabbit into a twisted carnival where the the body count is starting to draw attention.

IGN exclusively revealed the trailer, with director Scott Chambers describing the sequel as “absolute carnage.” Chambers also revealed that he counted 20 character demises during filming, all captured using practical effects, prosthetics, special-effects makeup, and physical gore effects.

The story picks up after Pooh, Tigger, and Rabbit are captured by the sinister Woozles Circus. Fifteen years later, the once-feral creatures have become attractions in a traveling carnival operated by the mysterious and immortal ringmaster Balthazar.

Meanwhile, an orphaned teenager named Momo Milne is desperate to discover what happened to her missing mother. Her investigation leads her to Woozles Ltd., prompting Momo and her outspoken best friend Billie to infiltrate the circus by taking jobs among its unusual performers.

What they find behind the carnival’s bright lights is considerably more disturbing than a collection of creepy costumes. The circus conceals drugged half-human creatures. And it is ensconced in gruesome killings. As Momo and Billie investigate, Momo discovers that her mother’s disappearance may be connected to the circus’s darkest secrets.

The situation becomes even more dangerous as Pooh and his companions struggle under their cruel captivity. Their bloodthirsty instincts begin to resurface, threatening to turn the traveling show into a slaughterhouse. Momo must uncover the truth before she and Billie become the next victims of the Woozles’ deadly entertainment.

Chambers says the sequel will explore how the creatures became the angry, damaged, and vengeful monsters audiences have come to know. He also described the film as a bigger and more ambitious entry in the franchise, with an important role in the larger story being developed across the growing horror universe.

One notable addition is Rabbit, voiced by Roger L. Jackson, best known for voicing Ghostface in the Scream franchise. Chambers praised Jackson’s performance for giving the character a chilling presence. The cast also includes Richard Stanley, Josephine Blazier, Scott Chambers, Kira Reed, Leo Harris, Zena Donnelly, and Harrison Davis. Stanley, who wrote the screenplay, also appears as Balthazar Von Woozle. Horror content creators Cris Parker of 3C Films and Slashertalk are also part of the cast.

The sequel is also intended to move the wider franchise closer to Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble, the planned crossover that Chambers has compared to an Avengers-style team-up. He described Blood and Honey 3 as a major stepping stone toward that eventual film, suggesting that the circus story will have consequences beyond this installment.

Directed by Chambers and written by Stanley, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3 comes from Jagged Edge Productions, with ITN Distribution handling its release. The film is scheduled to arrive in late January 2027.

For now, the trailer offers a look at a fairy-tale nightmare built around a traveling circus. Anyone hoping for a more restrained take on Pooh probably shouldn’t expect to find it here.
