‘PowerWash Simulator‘ Is Now Playable in ‘Fortnite‘ With New ‘SPLASHOUT‘ Island

Powerwash Simulator Fortnite Splashout

If you’re anything like me, there’s something oddly satisfying about washing away dirt and watching any filthy surface return to its former glory. Now, PowerWash Simulator is bringing that feeling to Fortnite, although this time there’s a little competition involved.

PowerWash SPLASHOUT, a new custom Fortnite island created by PowerWash Simulator developer FuturLab, is available to play now. Players can grab a power washer, tackle dirty environments and vehicles, and race against the clock alone or with friends. Teams can include up to eight players, so you can turn cleaning into a group activity instead of grunging around about whose turn it is to do the dishes.

I can see the appeal of this one. There’s something almost therapeutic about blasting away grime and seeing the results immediately. It’s the same basic satisfaction that makes PowerWash Simulator such an appealing game in the first place. SPLASHOUT adds a competitive twist, but the simple pleasure of making something dirty look clean is still the main attraction.

There’s more to do than point a washer at a dirty wall, too. Players can wash their Mega Gnome, earn PowerWash Points and XP, improve their equipment, and work toward Rebirth progression. You can cooperate with teammates, but the game also lets players interfere with rivals using tricks such as dirt rain and dirt bombs. Apparently, even cleaning has to become a competitive sport eventually.

To jump in, open Fortnite’s Discover menu and enter Island Code 7630-0397-6508. The experience is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile. One important distinction: SPLASHOUT is an independently created island and is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Epic Games.

Fortnite Has Plenty of Halloween Chaos Already

SPLASHOUT arrives during Fortnitemares 2026, which has turned Fortnite into a Halloween playground packed with horror crossovers and seasonal activities. This year’s event includes appearances from Five Nights at Freddy’s, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Beetlejuice, Hazbin Hotel, and other recognizable properties, alongside new locations and the returning Horde Rush mode.

Freddy Krueger has even made his way into the game, giving players another reason to keep an eye on what’s lurking around the map. With horror characters and Halloween-themed content arriving throughout October, Fortnitemares has once again given players plenty to explore during the run-up to Halloween.

That makes SPLASHOUT a different kind of addition to the mix. Instead of surviving a horror movie-inspired encounter, players can spend some time cleaning up, upgrading their gear, and competing for the best results. It might not be the first activity you’d expect to find alongside Freddy Krueger, but Fortnite has never been particularly interested in keeping its worlds separate.

PowerWash SPLASHOUT is available now using Island Code 7630-0397-6508. If you enjoy the oddly relaxing process of cleaning something until it sparkles, this might be worth a spray.
