The end of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune saga is getting closer. Today, Warner Bros. is offering another glimpse of what’s to come. The official Dune account has released new posters for Dune: Part Three, featuring Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, and Javier Bardem, while teasing the arrival of the film’s final trailer tomorrow.
The new posters carry the tagline “The Epic Conclusion” and arrive ahead of the movie’s December 18 theatrical release. The official announcement also confirms that Dune: Part Three will play exclusively in theaters and IMAX, with tickets now on sale around the world.
One poster features Chalamet as Paul Atreides embracing Zendaya’s Chani. Their relationship has been at the heart of Villeneuve’s adaptation, and the image puts their connection front and center as the story approaches its conclusion.
Another poster focuses on Chani, with Zendaya appearing in an emotional embrace. The images offer a more intimate look at the characters than the franchise’s sweeping desert landscapes and enormous battles, hinting at the personal stakes waiting for Paul and Chani in the final chapter.
Chalamet gets a more ominous character image of his own. As Paul, he stares ahead with his distinctive blue eyes and a hardened expression. Those blue eyes are a familiar feature of the Dune universe, where exposure to the spice melange changes the eyes of people who consume it regularly. The substance is found on Arrakis and plays a central role in the planet’s culture, economy, and the wider struggle for power.
The final poster features Javier Bardem as Stilgar, the Fremen leader who became one of Paul’s most important allies. His presence is a reminder that the conflict surrounding Paul extends well beyond his relationship with Chani.
The final trailer is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, October 27. With the movie’s release date approaching, the new posters offer another look at the characters who will carry Villeneuve’s adaptation to its next chapter.
Based on Frank Herbert’s Dune Messiah, Dune: Part Three takes place years after the events of Dune: Part Two, with Paul now ruling as Emperor and facing the consequences of his rise to power. Chani remains central to the story as political conspiracies and new threats place increasing pressure on House Atreides.
Villeneuve returns to direct, with Chalamet and Zendaya leading a cast that also includes Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Jason Momoa, Anya Taylor-Joy, Robert Pattinson, and Bardem.
