Regal isn’t clowning around this Halloween. Art the Clown is returning to their theaters, and fans can take a little piece of his Dead by Daylight debut home with them. Well, sorta. And there is a catch. So there is that.
All three Terrifier movies are back on the big screen from October 29 through October 31, with Regal Crown Club members eligible to receive a free code for Art’s sunflower sunglasses cosmetic in the popular horror game.
Regal announced the Halloween event on social media, with the screenings presented by Dead by Daylight in celebration of Art the Clown joining the game on November 17. Each movie gets its own day, giving fans a chance to revisit Damien Leone’s increasingly bloody slasher trilogy in theaters.
The original Terrifier screens Thursday, October 29, followed by Terrifier 2 on Friday, October 30, and Terrifier 3 on Saturday, October 31. Showtimes and participating locations may vary, so horror fans should check Regal’s listings before heading out.
The screenings also offer a bonus for players looking to add Art to their Dead by Daylight collection. Regal Crown Club members who see any of the three films during the promotional window can receive a digital code for Art the Clown’s sunflower glasses in-game cosmetic. The glasses are a recognizable part of the character’s look, giving players a way to bring a little of his signature style into the multiplayer horror game.
There are a few conditions to keep in mind. Regal says members must be subscribed to Regal Crown Club emails to receive the code, which is scheduled to arrive on November 3. The cosmetic will also be available for purchase through the Dead by Daylight in-game store, so the Regal promotion offers a free way to get it rather than an item that can only be obtained through the theater.
For Terrifier fans, the event offers an opportunity to experience Art’s escalating mayhem on the big screen again. For Dead by Daylight players, it’s an early chance to secure his sunflower sunglasses before his November 17 debut.
Tickets are available through Regal’s official horror-movie page, where moviegoers can check participating theaters and showtimes.
