‘Scream‘ 4K 30th Anniversary Collector’s Set Calls In With a Spooky Phone Replica

Scream Casey Becker

I can’t believe it’s been 30 years and 7 movies since the original Scream hit theaters way back in 1996. I remember it opened at the dollar theater in my town, because no one thought Wes Craven’s little meta slasher would turn into one of the biggest horror franchises of all time. But here we are, celebrating this iconic thriller’s 30th anniversary with an in-universe collector’s set.

Three decades after that phone first rang in Casey Becker’s kitchen, out in the small town of  Woodsboro, Ghostface is on the line once again. Alliance Home Entertainment celebrates Scream’s big birthday with a new collector’s set that turns Wes Craven’s career defining classic into a Woodsboro Police Department case file, complete with a replica of Casey Becker’s infamous cordless landline.

The Scream 30th Anniversary Collector’s Set is an Amazon exclusive and is available to pre-order now ahead of its December 15, 2026 release. It includes the movie on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, along with a Digital copy and a collection of physical extras designed to look like evidence pulled straight from the Woodsboro investigation.

The centerpiece is that replica ’90s era phone. The cordless handheld from the movie’s opening sequence has a distressed, bloodstained finish and can actually ring and play quotes from Scream. For anyone who has watched Casey Becker’s iconic intro more times than they probably should admit, seeing that BellSouth handset sitting in a box is already enough to trigger some very specific core memories.

Alliance isn’t stopping with the phone. The entire package is designed as a Woodsboro case file. The 4K UHD and Blu-ray discs are housed inside the case folder, alongside a “Persons of Interest” suspect sheet, six collectible suspect Polaroids and a recreated Woodsboro newspaper article.

The case file identifies Casey Becker as the victim and lists D. Riley as the reporting deputy. There is even a sticky note asking whether Casey knew her killer. The suspect material includes Neil Prescott, represented by a silhouette and question mark because he is away on a business trip, while Gale Weathers gets her own appearance on the “Persons of Interest” sheet.

Scream 30th Anniversary 4K Collectors Set

The complete set includes:

• Scream on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and Digital

• Replica cordless phone that rings and plays quotes from the film

• Woodsboro Police Department case folder holding two discs

• “Persons of Interest” suspect sheet

• Six collectible suspect Polaroids

• Recreated Woodsboro newspaper article

• Premium archival evidence-kit presentation

• And one piece of evidence we’re leaving for you to discover.

The presentation also includes details such as Casey’s photograph clipped to the file, a “Do not duplicate” marking and a coffee-ring detail. There is also another piece of evidence included in the set that Alliance is keeping under wraps for now.

This is the kind of Scream collectible that makes sense beyond simply putting a new box around a movie that has already been released a dozen different ways. I still have my original VHS copies of both Scream 1 and Scream 2. Trying to secure a box set like this immediately stresses me out. If I were a hard core collector? I’d scoop up this pre-order lickety-splickety. We all saw what happened with that new Elm Street 4K box set. That got kinda ugly.

The appeal of this cool Scream collector’s set is having something that feels like it belongs inside the movie’s world. You can pull open the Woodsboro case file, look through the suspect material and actually pick up the phone that started one of the most famous horror movie openings ever made. It’s like you’re actually in the film itself. And living in 1996 sounds a whole lot more fun than living in 2026.

This is less another home-video release and more designed to live on a collector’s shelf. The Scream 30th Anniversary Collector’s Set is available exclusively through Amazon while supplies last. Pre-orders are open now, with the set scheduled for release on December 15, 2026.

After 30 years, Casey’s phone is ringing again. This time, at least, you get to decide whether you’re brave enough to answer it. I can tell you right now, I’m not. But that’s because I’m a big Aunt Joyce about anything that goes bump in the night, and I fear any phone call is just debt collector’s coming to consume my soul. Rethinking it? I’d rather take a call from Ghostface than the some crusading collection agency.
