‘Halloween: The Game’ Reveals ‘Halloween 5’ Michael Myers Skin With His Scythe

Michael Myers Halloween 5 Video Game

Michael Myers is heading to the countryside in Halloween: The Game, with a new trailer showcasing his look from Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers ahead of the game’s October 27 content drop.

The update will also introduce a new map inspired by the 1989 slasher, alongside another Michael Myers skin and a collection of Halloween costumes for the game’s civilian characters.

The official Halloween: The Game account teased the upcoming addition with the ominous message, “Death is coming to Tower Farm…” The new map takes players beyond Haddonfield’s familiar suburban streets and into a rural farming community, where Michael can stalk his victims across country roads and cornfields with his iconic scythe.

The Tower Farm map draws inspiration from Halloween 5, bringing farmhouses, barns and pumpkin patches into the game’s multiplayer matches. The map will be free for everyone who owns the game when it arrives on October 27.

Players looking to dress Michael in his Halloween 5 appearance will need to purchase the new skin separately for $9.99. A second Michael Myers skin based on David Gordon Green’s Halloween (2018) will also be available for the same price. The mask design for the 2018 version is being supervised by Christopher Nelson, the artist who sculpted Michael’s mask for that film and its two sequels.

That’s not all arriving in Haddonfield next week. IllFonic has also released a teaser for the first civilian costume pack, giving the game’s survivors some seasonal outfits of their own. The pack includes 14 Halloween-themed outfits, with one for each civilian, plus 42 color tints. It will cost $9.99.

Two new Halloween civilian characters, Michelle and Eugene, are also part of the October 27 release. They’ll be sold together in a separate $9.99 character pack, while the new map and additional quality-of-life improvements will be available for free.

Halloween: The Game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The October 27 update marks the first major post-launch content drop, with further updates planned throughout the game’s first year.
