‘Werwulf’ Wall Sculpture Is Keeping Its Wolf’s Head a Secret Until After Christmas

Werwulf Wall Sculpture

Collectors interested in bringing a piece of Robert Eggers’ Werwulf home will have to make a decision before they know exactly what they’re buying.

The Blackened Teeth has opened preorders for an official wall sculpture based on the film’s wolf, but the creature’s finished appearance will remain a mystery until December 26, the day after the movie arrives in U.S. theaters.

The sculpture is built around a wolf’s head mounted on a black shield carrying the official Werwulf logo. Beyond that basic description, the company is keeping the design under wraps. Even the wolf’s color is being withheld, so the promotional material offers no real indication of what the finished creature will look like.

“None shall know the wolf’s identity until the movie is unveiled…”

That makes this an unusual proposition for a movie collectible. Buyers can reserve the piece now, but they won’t see the actual wolf until the film has opened and Christmas is over. The Blackened Teeth warns that the sculptures may already have been claimed by the time the reveal happens.

The piece is made from hand-crafted resin and measures approximately 11.6 inches tall, 7.9 inches wide, and 8.9 inches deep. It weighs 3.6 kilograms, or just under eight pounds, and comes in a branded limited-edition box with a certificate of authenticity. The company says the sculpture is designed, crafted, and finished in Britain by its own artisans.

The U.S. preorder listing is priced at $178, with shipping scheduled to begin December 29, 2026. The company also lists worldwide shipping. Those interested can find the official product information and preorder details at The Blackened Teeth.

Werwulf takes place in 13th-century England, where a village’s folklore begins to take on a terrifying reality. Eggers directs and co-wrote the film with Sjón, his collaborator on The Northman. The cast includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Willem Dafoe, and Lily-Rose Depp. Focus Features describes the film as a story of devotion, damnation, and the devil within.

The U.S. theatrical release is set for December 25, 2026, while audiences in the UK will get the film on January 1, 2027. The sculpture’s reveal follows on December 26, leaving anyone who orders one with a little Christmas mystery to look forward to.
