Jack in the Box is bringing Doctor Doom to the drive-thru. The fast-food chain has teased a collaboration with Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday, and its latest video puts Jack in a very Doom-inspired costume. Instead of his familiar business suit alone, he’s seated on a throne wearing a green hood and cape inspired by the Marvel villain.
Posted on October 26, the teaser comes with a short warning from the official Jack in the Box account: “Something’s assembling. Consider this your warning.” The Avengers reference is hard to miss, while the green box beside Jack features what looks like a vault-style door. The video doesn’t reveal what’s inside, leaving fans to speculate about what the chain has planned.
One possibility circulating online is a themed “Doomsday Box” meal, potentially with special packaging or collectible merchandise. The colored boxes visible near Jack’s throne have also prompted theories about possible connections to the Fantastic Four, Avengers and X-Men. Those details haven’t been confirmed by Jack in the Box or Marvel, so for now, the teaser is the only official glimpse of the promotion.
This wouldn’t be the first time Jack in the Box has teamed up with Marvel. The chain promoted Deadpool & Wolverine in 2024 with themed food and packaging, giving it a precedent for bringing superhero marketing to its menu. The new teaser suggests another movie tie-in is on the way, though the company has yet to announce any food items, prices or a launch date.
The timing puts the tease ahead of Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled to open in theaters on December 18, 2026. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the film brings together heroes from different corners of the Marvel universe as they face Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr. The cast includes Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby and several returning X-Men actors.
For now, Jack in the Box is keeping the details under wraps. The company’s official post is the place to watch for the next reveal, especially if that mysterious box turns out to contain more than a very ominous meal deal.
