Love cereal? Love coffee? Then you are in for one big buzz in your cereal bowl. General Mills has decided that we shouldn’t have to choose between the two, mixing both for an exciting breakfast collab that should awaken DrScreams out of his lab-induced stupor.
A new partnership with Dunkin’ is bringing three coffee-inspired cereal flavors to grocery store shelves this December, including a Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte mashup and a Reese’s Puffs variety built around peanut butter mocha.
This is the first collaboration between General Mills and Dunkin’, and they’re putting three familiar cereal brands to work with flavors inspired by Dunkin’ beverages. The limited-time lineup includes Cinnamon Toast Crunch x Dunkin’ Cinnamon Caramel Latte, Reese’s Puffs x Dunkin’ Peanut Butter Mocha, and Golden Grahams x Dunkin’ Vanilla Graham Latte.
Each combination sounds like it has a pretty clear idea of what it wants to be. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch version takes those familiar cinnamon squares and adds caramel and creamy latte-inspired notes. Reese’s Puffs gets a chocolate-and-peanut-butter makeover with mocha flavor, while Golden Grahams pairs its honey graham squares with vanilla latte-inspired sweetness.
I’m especially curious about the Reese’s Puffs variety. Chocolate and peanut butter already make a dependable cereal combination, so bringing mocha into the mix sounds like a natural next step. Cinnamon Toast Crunch and caramel also seem like an easy match, while Golden Grahams getting the vanilla treatment could be an interesting change from the usual bowl.
There is one important detail for anyone expecting an actual coffee-and-cereal breakfast: these are coffee-inspired flavors only. The new cereals do not contain coffee or caffeine. So you can enjoy the Dunkin’ flavor idea without turning breakfast into a hyper electrified experiment.
All three varieties are scheduled to begin arriving at stores nationwide in December 2026. Cinnamon Toast Crunch x Dunkin’ Cinnamon Caramel Latte and Reese’s Puffs x Dunkin’ Peanut Butter Mocha will be available through retailers nationwide. Golden Grahams x Dunkin’ Vanilla Graham Latte, however, is a Walmart exclusive.
This is a pretty fun way to bring two familiar breakfast routines together, and I’m always interested when cereal companies start playing around with flavors beyond the usual chocolate, cinnamon, and honey. Whether you grab a box because you’re a Dunkin’ regular or because you’re simply curious about what peanut butter mocha tastes like in a bowl, there should be something here worth checking out.
Now, if General Mills wants to keep experimenting, I have a few cereal ideas of my own. But first, I’ll need to find room in the pantry for three more boxes.
