Universal’s ‘Halloween Horror Nights‘ Launches Year-Round ‘HHN Podcast‘

HHN Podcast

Halloween Horror Nights fans now have something to listen to long after the fog clears. Universal has launched the official Universal HHN Podcast, a year-round show dedicated to the event and its history at Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood.

Hosted by Gabby, Gabbi, and Carlos, the podcast promises to cover all things Halloween Horror Nights, from past Icons and haunted houses to scare zones and the stories behind the event. The hosts also plan to bring in special guests for behind-the-scenes conversations. Its tagline makes the mission clear: “All Chaos. No Control. HHN ALL YEAR ROUND!”

The show is already off to a busy start with its first episode, which runs just over an hour and focuses on Halloween Horror Nights 35 at Universal Orlando Resort. Gabby, Gabbi, and Carlos work through this year’s lineup, sharing reactions and opinions on the event’s attractions.

The episode opens with a look at the scare zones, including Downtown Clowntown, featuring Killer Klowns from Outer Space and Art the Clown, along with the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares and Sideshow of Decay. From there, the hosts turn to the event’s entertainment, including Nightmare Fuel: Blood Noir, Mel’s Die-In: Zombie, HamiKuma, and Club Horror.

Food and beverage offerings get their own discussion before the hosts move on to the haunted houses. The lineup includes Stranger Things 5, Sinners, Hellraiser, Evil Dead Burn, and Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness. Other houses covered include H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular!, MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals, Invasion: Alien Abduction, Cybergoria, and Jack and Oddfellow: Chaos & Control. The hosts even introduce a “Lil’ Boo Rating System” for their haunted house discussions.

The debut episode wraps up with a look at the resort offerings before the hosts sign off. Its detailed chapter list makes it easy for listeners to jump to the parts of Halloween Horror Nights 35 they want to hear about, whether that’s a particular haunted house or one of this year’s scare zones.

Although the first episode is focused on Universal Orlando, the podcast’s plans extend to both coasts. Future episodes are expected to explore Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood as well, along with past event history and conversations with special guests.

The Universal HHN Podcast is available to watch on YouTube, with new episodes intended to keep the Halloween Horror Nights conversation going throughout the year. For fans who aren’t ready to leave the event behind after Halloween, Universal has given them another reason to stay in the fog.
