Netflix’s Stranger Things is heading back to Halloween Horror Nights for one final trip into the Upside Down.
Universal Studios has announced an all-new Stranger Things haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights 2026 at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. Inspired by the fifth and final season of Netflix’s hit series, the house will throw guests into the battle for Hawkins with Vecna, Demogorgons and other creatures waiting inside.
Developed in partnership with Netflix, the Stranger Things 5 house will recreate locations and major moments from the show’s final season, including the Wheeler House, Hawkins National Laboratory and the MAC-Z military base.
Guests will also cross into the Upside Down and the Abyss as the barrier separating Hawkins from the supernatural begins to collapse. Universal promises encounters with familiar characters from the series along the way, but they won’t be alone. Demogorgons and other creatures will hunt guests throughout the experience, with Vecna once again serving as one of the house’s biggest threats.
The attraction marks the latest Stranger Things collaboration between Netflix and Halloween Horror Nights. The series first invaded the event in 2018, with additional houses following in 2019 and 2023. This time, Universal is building the experience specifically around the conclusion of the series.
New ‘Stranger Things’ Halloween Horror Nights Merchandise
Universal is also launching a new collection of limited-release merchandise tied to the Stranger Things haunted house.
The park-exclusive collection includes an ’80s-inspired T-shirt and mug along with a new Stranger Things acrylic figure designed to fit Universal’s separately sold Infernal Carnival collectible display. Additional figures based on the 2026 Halloween Horror Nights lineup are expected to be revealed later.
The merchandise is available now at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. It will also be released through shopUniversal on June 18 at 9 a.m. PT.
When Does Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Start?
Halloween Horror Nights 2026 begins Friday, August 28 at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, September 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Both events will run on select nights through Sunday, November 1, 2026.
