NECA is giving Elvira a new action figure, and the company made sure to bring along one of the strangest souvenirs from her long career as a horror hostess. The Ultimate Elvira figure comes with Gonk, her beloved dog, and the infamous monster casserole from 1988’s Elvira: Mistress of the Dark.
The new 7-inch figure celebrates 45 years of Elvira and recreates Cassandra Peterson’s iconic horror hostess with a fabric dress and interchangeable hands and faceplates. The extra expressions give collectors a few ways to display the character, but the movie-inspired accessories are the real attraction here.

Along with Gonk, the set includes a snake, bracelets, a dagger and sunglasses. The casserole comes with an attachable monster and tail, bringing one of the film’s wonderfully bizarre details to the display shelf. A display stand is also included.
Released in 1988, Elvira: Mistress of the Dark follows Elvira as she inherits a house, a recipe book and a dog from her late great-aunt. She heads to a conservative Massachusetts town to claim her inheritance, where her arrival causes a scandal and puts her at odds with the locals. Things get even stranger when she becomes caught up in actual witchcraft.

The film remains a key part of Elvira’s legacy, and NECA’s accessory selection gives this figure a direct connection to the movie rather than relying solely on her familiar black dress and towering hair. That monster casserole is certainly going to stand out in any horror collection.
The Ultimate Elvira figure comes in a collector-friendly window box with an opening front flap, so fans can keep her packaged while still getting a look at the figure inside.
NECA’s Ultimate Elvira figure is available to preorder now for $37.99 through the company’s official online store. Shipping is currently estimated for the second quarter of 2027, though NECA notes that preorder shipping estimates can change.
Collectors can check out the figure and place a preorder through the official NECA Store.
