‘Scoobtober’ Takes Over Halloween With Scooby-Doo Marathons, New Collectibles & ‘Dead By Daylight’

Scooby-Doo Dead By Daylight Scoobtober 2026

Scooby-Doo and Halloween have gone together for more than 50 years, and Warner Bros. Discovery has a lot planned for the Mystery Inc. gang this October.

Scoobtober returns for 2026 with a month of Scooby-Doo programming, movies, games, collectibles, food and some unexpected collaborations. This year’s theme is “Thrills & Chills,” with festivities spread across Cartoon Network, Boomerang, HBO Max and MeTV Toons throughout October.

Cartoon Network kicks things off October 1 with a What’s New, Scooby-Doo? marathon, followed by daily Scooby-Doo programming blocks through Halloween. The 2020 animated movie SCOOB! will air October 10 and again on October 31. Boomerang is getting an even earlier start with a two-day marathon of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! and What’s New, Scooby-Doo? on October 1 and 2, followed by more Scooby programming throughout the month.

MeTV Toons is digging into some of the franchise’s older Halloween favorites for its Spooktacular Sundays. Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School airs October 4, followed by Scooby-Doo! and the Reluctant Werewolf on October 11 and Scooby-Doo! Meets the Boo Brothers on October 18. The October 25 lineup includes “A Halloween Hassle at Dracula’s Castle” from The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries along with the Sandy Duncan episode “Sandy Duncan’s Jekyll and Hyde.” HBO Max will also feature Scooby-Doo throughout its Kids & Family Halloween collections during the month.

One of this year’s bigger Scoobtober collaborations involves Simple Plan, whose connection to Scooby-Doo goes all the way back to the band’s theme song for What’s New, Scooby-Doo? more than two decades ago. Warner Bros. Discovery and the band recently made that relationship official with a global partnership that includes Scooby-Doo merchandise and appearances at select Simple Plan shows. Beginning October 1, U.S. fans can also enter a sweepstakes for a trip to Orlando to see the band at Vans Warped Tour on November 14.

The music connection doesn’t stop there. Last year’s Lofi Scooby-Doo album, which Warner Bros. says has accumulated more than 2.5 million streams, is getting a limited-edition vinyl release from WaterTower Music in mid-October.

Scooby and the gang are also making their way into video games. Tiki Solitaire TriPeaks is running a Scooby-Doo event through November 23 with themed challenges and limited-edition rewards. The considerably stranger pairing arrives in December, when Scooby-Doo crosses over with Dead by Daylight. Warner Bros. says Scooby-Doo elements and character-inspired cosmetic collections will enter the Fog for the first time, with additional gaming surprises still to be announced.

Collectors will have plenty to hunt down during the month. Loungefly has Hex Girls bags and pins on the way, Jada Toys has a 1:12 scale Scooby-Doo action figure, and JAKKS Pacific is turning Daphne and Velma into collector fashion dolls. Mattel’s Scooby-Doo Polly Pocket compact is part of the lineup as well, while Hasbro is crossing Mystery Inc. with Transformers through Mysterious Prime and Automutt, a pair of converting characters inspired by Scooby-Doo.

Even the snacks are getting involved. Nestlé Toll House has Scooby-Doo Halloween refrigerated cookie dough for the season, and Scooby and Shaggy will appear in a new Instacart commercial. Walmart, Target, Hot Topic and the WB Shop will carry additional Scooby-Doo apparel and seasonal merchandise, while other collaborations range from Igloo coolers and Hallmark ornaments to glow-in-the-dark Pipsticks stationery.

Fans looking for something a little more hands-on can also step into the Scooby-Doo and the Spooky Castle Adventure escape room at participating Escapology locations. Pigeon Forge’s Scooby-Doo! Mystery Putt is another option for anyone whose preferred method of solving mysteries involves miniature golf.

Warner Bros. is also offering a digital movie and TV deal through Fanflix during Scoobtober, allowing fans to mix and match five participating films or television seasons for $15 through November 3.

With that much Scooby-Doo spread across October, you could spend Halloween season watching the original 1969 series, picking up a Hex Girls bag, eating Scooby-Doo cookies and waiting to find out exactly what happens when Mystery Inc. wanders into Dead by Daylight.

Scoobtober 2026 begins October 1.
