Remember feeding quarters into sticker vending machines and hoping the next cardboard sleeve contained the one you wanted? Fright-Rags is tapping directly into that particular strain of ’80s nostalgia with Series Two of its Prizmaniacs horror sticker collection.
The new series once again transforms horror favorites into the shiny prismatic stickers that once covered Trapper Keepers, notebooks and pretty much anything else kids were allowed to stick them on. Series Two features 25 different designs, with They Live, Halloween II, Shocker, Phantasm II, The People Under the Stairs, The Funhouse, The Thing, The Munsters, JAWS, Dead Silence, Dawn of the Dead, Back to the Future, E.T. among the horror and sci-fi movies getting the retro treatment.
Rather than simply reproducing vintage sticker artwork, Fright-Rags enlisted artist Kyle Crawford to draw the entire collection. The 2.5-by-3.5-inch stickers were created in the style of the classic Selectra stickers sold during the 1980s, mixing recreations of vintage designs with entirely new artwork made to look like it could have come out of one of those old vending machines.
Collecting them is appropriately old-school, too. Prizmaniacs are sold in blind packs containing three randomly selected stickers, so there’s no way to know which designs you’re getting until the package is opened. Fright-Rags warns that while it doesn’t intentionally send duplicates when multiple packs are ordered, even the company doesn’t know what’s inside each pack.
There are also five rare variants hiding throughout Series Two. Those are considerably harder to come by, with only 500 copies of each rare produced. The standard designs are even more limited individually, with Fright-Rags producing just 220 of each common sticker.
The stickers are professionally printed, waterproof and limited edition, and the company isn’t planning to keep producing them once the current run is gone. Orders are also limited to three packs per person.
Prizmaniacs Series Two blind packs are priced at $12 each and are available to preorder now directly from Fright-Rags. Each pack contains three stickers, with orders expected to begin shipping in November 2026.
So yes, you can once again buy a mystery pack of shiny horror stickers and hope Michael Myers is hiding inside. The only thing missing is having to straighten a crumpled dollar bill in a mall arcade so the change machine will accept it.
