‘LEGO Harry Potter Collection’ Arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 With All DLC Included

LEGO Harry Potter Collection Nintendo Switch 2

Harry Potter is heading back to Hogwarts on Nintendo Switch 2, with Warner Bros. Games bringing both LEGO Harry Potter adventures to Nintendo’s latest console.

LEGO Harry Potter Collection is available now for Nintendo Switch 2, combining LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 into one package for $49.99. The collection includes all previously released downloadable content, allowing players to experience the entire eight-film saga with additional characters and spells.

Developed by TT Games and ported to Nintendo Switch 2 by Double Eleven and Cast Iron Games, the collection takes players through Harry’s years at Hogwarts, recreating familiar locations and moments from the movies with the humor and puzzle-solving gameplay associated with the LEGO video game series.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 covers the first four films, beginning with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and continuing through Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire. Players explore Hogwarts, learn spells, brew potions and encounter characters from the early years of Harry’s story.

The second half of the collection, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, follows the remaining four movies, including Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince and both parts of Deathly Hallows. The adventure continues through Harry’s final years at Hogwarts and his confrontation with Lord Voldemort.

Warner Bros. has also included all previously released DLC packs in the Nintendo Switch 2 edition.

The Character Pack adds ten playable characters and alternate appearances, including Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, Salazar Slytherin, Harry in his Yule Ball outfit, Luna wearing her lion hat, Peeves, Hermione in a pink dress, Ron Weasley as a ghoul and Gilderoy Lockhart in a straitjacket.

The Spell Pack adds five additional spells: Cantis, Densaugeo, Ducklifors, Melofors and Tentaclifors.

The collection is available in both digital and physical editions. However, collectors should be aware that the Nintendo Switch 2 physical release uses a game-key card, meaning the card serves as a key to download the games rather than containing the complete collection directly on the cartridge.

Warner Bros. has not detailed any additional Switch 2-specific visual enhancements or performance improvements in its launch announcement, so players shouldn’t assume this version includes upgrades beyond bringing the collection to the newer hardware.

Originally released as separate games, the two LEGO Harry Potter adventures have been collected together on several platforms over the years. The Nintendo Switch 2 release gives players another way to revisit the series, whether they’re returning to Hogwarts or discovering the LEGO adaptations for the first time.
