Cup Noodles has introduced a new Halloween flavor that turns red when you add hot water. And for anyone who really wants to commit to the vampire theme, there’s also a matching $3,999 casket.
The limited-edition Vampire Noodles feature a Hot Garlic Chicken flavor, combining garlic with savory chicken seasoning. The noodles undergo a color transformation when prepared, turning a striking shade of red thanks to natural beet coloring. The Halloween release is available exclusively at Walmart for $1.18 per cup while supplies last.
But the noodles are only half of this particularly unusual Halloween promotion.

Cup Noodles has teamed up with Titan Casket, a company that sells funeral caskets directly to consumers, to create a custom Vampire Noodles casket inspired by the new flavor. The full-size casket features a deep maroon, high-gloss exterior with the Cup Noodles logo and a dripping design across the lid.
Inside, the casket features black crushed velvet and an embroidered head panel bearing the words “It’s to die for.” The design takes the vampire theme considerably further than the usual Halloween food promotion, turning a $1.18 cup of instant noodles into the inspiration for a piece of funeral merchandise that costs nearly $4,000.
And yes, the casket is actually available to purchase.
Titan Casket is selling the limited-edition collaboration for $3,999 through its website. Cup Noodles is also giving fans a chance to win one through a sweepstakes hosted on the brand’s Instagram and TikTok accounts.
The Vampire Noodles themselves are designed around one of the oldest pieces of vampire folklore. Garlic has long been associated with keeping vampires away, so Cup Noodles has packed its seasonal creation with a hot garlic flavor that even Dracula might have trouble resisting.
The red color comes from beet coloring rather than an artificial dye, with the transformation happening as soon as hot water is added. It’s a visual gimmick that gives the noodles a Halloween identity without requiring customers to do anything differently when preparing them.
“Halloween is the perfect moment to create something unexpected, and Vampire Noodles does exactly that,” said Priscila Stanton, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Nissin Foods. “The blood-red transformation and bold hot garlic flavor turn an everyday meal into a memorable Halloween experience.”
Cup Noodles Vampire Noodles are available now at Walmart stores nationwide for $1.18 while supplies last. The matching Titan Casket is available for $3,999, with sweepstakes details available through Cup Noodles’ official social media accounts.
